Terms of Use

Sanjog — matrimony app for brides, grooms and their families
Package com.free_matrimony.myappname · Last updated 7 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Sanjog — the Android app, the iOS app and the website at sanjog.lazycode.ai. By creating a profile you agree to them. How we handle your information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use Sanjog

2. Sanjog is free, and stays usable for free

Sanjog is free to download and free to use. You do not need to pay to create a profile, to send an interest, or to talk to someone once both sides have accepted. Free accounts have a daily allowance — currently five interests and one super interest a day — which resets each day.

Free accounts see advertising in the Android app. You can watch an optional rewarded ad to earn up to two extra interests in a day; that is always your choice and never required.

3. Optional paid plans

Gold, Gold+ and Platinum are optional upgrades. They raise the daily allowance and remove advertising. They are never required to create a profile, send an interest, or talk after both sides accept.

On Android

On the website

On iOS

Where the iOS app is available, purchases are billed through the App Store on the same auto-renewing basis, and are cancelled in your Apple subscription settings.

What a paid plan does not buy

A subscription buys a larger daily allowance and an ad-free app. It does not buy a match, an introduction, a reply, or any particular outcome. Nobody is obliged to accept your interest.

4. How Sanjog works, and what we do not promise

5. Acceptable use

The following will get an account removed. Some of them will also be reported to the police.

6. Reporting, review and enforcement

Every profile and every conversation carries a report control. Filing a report takes two taps, can block the other member at the same time, and is confidential — the person you report is never told who reported them.

The reporting options are, in order: Child safety concern, Child sexual abuse or exploitation, Fake or impersonated profile, Harassment or abusive messages, Inappropriate photos or content, Scam or asking for money, and Something else. The two child-safety options are reviewed ahead of everything else.

Separately from reports, Sanjog reviews content before it is published:

Where a report or a review is upheld we may, depending on what happened, reject the content, ask for a change, suspend the account, or remove it permanently. Serious cases are removed immediately and without warning.

Reporting from outside the app
Email sanjog@lazycode.ai with the profile name and what you saw. Child-safety reports go to soumya@lazycode.ai and are accepted from anyone, whether or not they use Sanjog.

7. Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. By putting it on Sanjog you give us permission to store it, to show it to the members your privacy settings allow, and to review it for safety — and nothing beyond that. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your photographs in advertising.

You confirm that you have the right to everything you upload, including any photograph of another person.

8. Family access

You can invite family members and give each of them a role: view only, respond on your behalf, or manage the profile. Whoever you invite can see and do exactly what their role allows, so choose it deliberately, and invite only people whose contact details you are entitled to enter. You can revoke access at any time.

9. Notifications and email

We send notifications about messages, interests and verification decisions. You can turn each category off in the app, or turn notifications off entirely in your device settings. Occasional promotional email carries a working unsubscribe link; unsubscribing never stops the mail you need, such as a sign-in code.

10. Closing your account

You can close your account from inside the app at any time. Your profile is withdrawn immediately, every session is signed out, and your mobile number, email address and linked sign-in identities are released so you can open a fresh account with them later. What happens to the underlying records, and how to ask for full erasure, is set out in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.

Closing your account does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel that in Google Play → Subscriptions.

11. Availability and changes

Sanjog is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption, or that every feature will remain. We may add, change or withdraw features, and we may change these terms; when we do we will update the date at the top of this page and announce anything material in the app. Continuing to use Sanjog after a change means you accept it.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sanjog is not liable for the conduct of any member, for anything that happens between members on or off the service, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under India's consumer protection law.

13. Governing law and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. Sanjog operates as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

If something has gone wrong, write to us first at sanjog@lazycode.ai and describe the problem, the profile involved and what you would like done. We will look into it and reply.
