Refund & Cancellation Policy
Sanjog is free to join and free to use. The only thing you can ever pay for is an optional membership plan — Gold, Gold+ or Platinum — described on our Membership & Pricing page. This policy explains how those plans are cancelled and when money is returned. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
1. Plans bought on the website
- A web plan is a one-time payment for a fixed period — 3, 6 or 12 months. It is not a recurring subscription and nothing is charged again unless you buy again.
- Payment is collected by our payment partner (currently Razorpay; Cashfree may also be offered). We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Your plan activates the moment the payment succeeds, and its benefits — a larger daily allowance and an ad-free app — are available immediately.
Cancelling a web plan
You can end a web plan at any time from inside the app (Profile → membership card). Ending it stops your benefits at once. Because the plan is prepaid rather than recurring, ending it early does not create a refund for the unused part of the period.
When we do refund a web payment
- Charged but not activated. If the payment was debited and the plan did not activate within 24 hours, we refund in full or activate the plan — your choice.
- Duplicate charge. If the same plan was charged twice for one purchase, the duplicate is refunded in full.
- Failed payment that was still debited. Refunded in full once the payment partner confirms the failure.
Approved refunds go back to the same payment method you paid with. We initiate them within 3 working days of approving the request; banks and card networks usually take a further 5–7 working days to show the credit.
What we do not refund
- A plan you have used and no longer want.
- Not receiving a match, a reply or an accepted interest. A plan raises your daily allowance and removes advertising; it does not buy any outcome.
- An account closed by us for breaking the Terms of Use — for example a fake profile, harassment or fraud.
2. Plans bought in the Android app (Google Play)
- Android plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed by Google Play, not by Sanjog.
- Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your benefits until the period you have already paid for ends.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Request them from Google Play first; if Google directs you to the developer, write to us and we will action it.
3. Plans bought in the iOS app (App Store)
Where the iOS app is available, subscriptions are billed and refunded by Apple under the App Store's terms. Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings and request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Closing your account
Deleting your Sanjog account ends a web plan immediately and without a refund. It does not by itself cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription — cancel that with the store as well, or it will renew.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email sanjog@lazycode.ai from the address or number on your account with:
- the plan you bought and the date,
- the payment or order id from your payment confirmation, and
- what went wrong.
We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and resolve it within 7 working days.
